Default MMC sync question

trying to syn 2 PT LE via MMC, I'm able to control the slave machine to play and stop following the Master, but the master machine doesn't play when it was 'transport = mmc"

is there any method to make both play together?

Thanks a lot!

Until I went HD, I would sync 2 LE rigs together when I needed more than 18 inputs. I believe the way you are doing it is the only way. The slave's transport is online waiting for MMC from the master. I also sync'd the clocks.

Just saw you posted in the mac forum too, and got an answer there.

I'm using them for a live gig, wanna sync the main and backup program machine to run together,

so i also want to know, If the master machine hang up, will the slave keep running ( assume that the master didn't generate a 'stop' signal)?

Sorry KK, I don't have an answer for you. Maybe you could slave both systems to a 3rd sync device.

Regarding if the slave will stop if the master does, perhaps you could setup the system and experiment with it to see if it does what you'd want.
