I’ve started using the RT lately. So far I can get a nice clean funk and a bluesy type of vibe from it. Of course it goes without saying the most important element in plugin like that is to choose the right speaker mic combo that sounds favourable for what you would like to use I quite like it.

I’ve been using the PRS Dallas in a similar manor. It has less speaker/mic combos, but you can combine 2 for a more versatile sound. Plus you can load your own IRs, but I don’t personally bother with that kind of thing. The automatic phase alignment of IRs is a brilliant idea too.

That’s a great compressor. Flexible. You may have seen me explain it elsewhere before, but the Analog dial isn’t a Noise control, it selects emulation types.

So far 1 seems very API 2500 to me and 3 seems very V-Comp, complete with the lower “nominal” level. Watch out for that, it’s not easy to directly compare without messing with the other controls. I know 2 isn’t the PYE although it’s quite close, I expect it may be the SSL, while 4 might be the Fairchild or 76.

I hope it’s the Fairchild because H-Comp has flexible ratio, attack and release times!!

True! You can turn down the mix Knob and the signal while completely dry will still be colored and the frequency response affected by the different emulations. It's worth taking a look with Q-Clone.
The punch Knob is very useful
