Pro Tools Ultimate 2018.4 GUI offset by tabs error

Pro Tools has added "tabs" recently for the main window and mixer, etc.

When I have a session with just the main edit window and I open the mixer, it automatically creates a new tab. This causes the entire GUI to shift and get completely offset and messed up. Every time I go from having no tabs to more than 1 tab, I have to re-size the window for the GUI to reset properly.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a way to turn off the automatic tab option?

Pro Tools didn't add tabs.

High Sierra added tabs (for any multi-window application)

To turn it off, go to system preferences>Dock and change:
“Prefer tabs when opening documents” pop-up menu

Choose Manually.

Thank you! That explains why I couldn't find anything about tabs and Pro Tools. I updated Pro Tools and High Sierra at the same time so thought it was a Pro Tools issue.

I suppose this is still a bug but at least I know I can turn it off.
