What are the main differences between Synchronic and Transfuser?

The title says it all...

Synchronic calls itself "Beat and Audio Manipulation Tool"

Transfuser calls itself "The Ultimate Groove Creator"

Can anyone break it down easily as to what's really the deal with these two plugs?

Not really, but I will try.

They are definitely two totally different plugins. They do some of the same things, but totally differently.

In the simplest of terms think of it this way:

• Synchronic = Digital audio DJ deck (plus a little more, but we're being simple here)
• Transfuser = Multiple Akai MPC units (again, a LOT more there, but we're trying to break it down to simple terms)

I own both, and in my personal opinion, with tranfuser available, especially at the lower price, there is no reason to purchase Synchronic anymore. At all. Transfuser does a lot of the same things as Synchronic, but so so so much more.
If I had to choose between them today, it would be Transfuser hands down.

The difference is that I've not used Synchronic for about 2 years, if you pay the fee I can let you have the iLok for it.
