Default Core Audio driver for PT 7.0

I have run into the same problem that I was having in PT 6.9 on MAC OS 10.4.2. The core audio driver was repeatedly getting kicked out of the Apple preferences. Again I can use PT 7.0, but I can't get the audio driver to work for DVD, Itunes, and other apps. etc. Is anyone else having this problem and will the PT 7 updates take care of this. Preferences in MAC sees the Mbox, but it won't let me use it as the main audio driver.
