PT 12.3 broke 11R Audio Interface functionality

I installed PT 12.3 on my 15 MBPr running OS X 10.10.5

My primary/only audio interface was the 11R but after the update PT no longer muted the amp output unless you record or input-enabled a track with the 11R rig output enabled as the track input (that sounds more confusing than it is).

Anyway, I also have an Audient ID3 so I dug it out and hooked it up. It is a nice interface but I prefer the simplicity of using just the 11R.

I think it is 50/50 that AVID updates the 11R drivers for 10.11 compatibility but here's hoping.

Are you referring to the "OUTPUT to AMP" jack on the front panel?

What version of PT were you running before 12.3?

What version of the Driver is installed?

Naw - I'm referring to the internal 11R DAW outputs within PT.

I was running PT 12.2

Similar setup here (iMac in sig) and the amp mutes when I open a session. using the headphone out (no speakers currently connected), and 12.3 works the same as previous versions of PT. Driver is v1.2.5.

Anyone else able to repro?

Nope, I'm on Windows with 12.3 and everything works the same as it always has.

That said, on the Windows side there is an issue with the driver constantly monitoring that will pop up at random. But the problem described sounds different from the problem on the Windows side.

Try trashing prefs, that's always a good first step.

I decided to update my music computer to 10.11 - so now OS X doesn't even see the 11R as an audio interface.

I'm routing audio through the Audient ID14.

Still hoping for updated 11R drivers - but skeptical.
