I can't give you a warranty on it, but in my household are two machines which I updated for 1909 without any problem. Most issues are anyway created by third-party anti-virus software. I stick to Windows defender strictly, and no problems so far. If you are using some, deinstall it, run the update, and if you wish you can install it again after the update. But I wouldn't advise you to skip this update.

Oops, this answer went the wrong way. I wasn't talking about Mackies.

I'm on Mac (latest Mojave Mac Pro 5,1) and since installing 2019.10, I've had some -9093 errors, which I have never seen before in 9+ years on this machine.

I tried doing the disable tailspin/spindump fix, but my machine won't boot in Recovery mode (machine too old?), and the commands don't work in a regular boot.

The errors aren't regular enough for me to have noted before now, but it's once or twice a day.

Sorry, but I have to ask again and again,
How did you manage to update to 2019.10?
I am still stuck here.
Still those pesky messages I described in detail in
http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=406991.
Please. Did you encounter any difficulties, and if so, what did you do to get this solved?
Or didn't you have any issues with that update?
I am curious.

My experience is just the opposite. The window position is not remembered even on the same session the next time it's launched. This has been broken for many years throughout many versions of Pro Tools. My friends who use Pro Tools have the same experience. It's quite aggravating actually.

+1, although it only goes back about 2-3 years on current system.

really?

Because I use a Raven and an iMac, my window configurations are important... and my sessions reopen with those windows correct every time.

Hi noiseboyuk, how are you doing? What about Windows, and what about PT? I had become curious, would you mind very much updating me?
With PT 2019.10, I am still stuck.

I have no problem remembering window position in Win 10. I'm using 3 monitors above the console.

Have you tried closing with ALT-F4?

Windows positions are remembered on my home system (Win 10), but that's not the case on my iMac at the office.
