an error occurred installing shoe tool. try running a build with signed components fi
This seems to be a problem dating back to 2012 or earlier, and has now popped up on my system.
Ive done everything listed here but the problem still persists... Ive uninstalled protools, pace, reinstalled after empty trash, and reboot... What else can be done? This is so lame!!

Thanks anyway.
Pro Tools is dead in the water for me now... I have no idea how to resolve this.

I have spent the last several hours scouring the internet and have tried everything. Pro Tools is dead.
I have found people struggling with this since 2008. This is pretty bad for me.

Re: an error occurred installing shoe tool. try running a build with signed component
I've been using Pro Tools for 15 years and this is the first time I've heard of the ShoeTool!
Did you try uninstalling Pro Tools, manually deleting the ShoeTool files, empty the trash, reboot, then reinstall Pro Tools? You might try re-downloading the Pro Tools installation files in case there's something corrupt with the one you have. Absolute worst case would be to reformat and reinstall the OS, then install Pro Tools - not fun. If you do, it'd be a good idea to have a backup of your current system. Good luck!
