Avid Space is not true stereo :-(
When TL-space became just Space, it seems the multi mono version disappeared. Using the multichannel version means that an instrument panned hard right will have an equal amount of reverb both on left and right. It also means that two different instruments panned hard left and right against each other will get totally messed up from each others reverb as the reverb won't follow their panning.
Any solutions or do I have to use a different IR-verb?

Re: Avid Space is not true stereo :-(
I recall that there is a thread about Space bug that only uses L side of impulse or something like that. Hopefully this can be fixed in a timely manner, if the bug can be reproed in-house...

Avid Space is not true stereo :-(
The workaround for Space is to turn the stereo IR into a true stereo IR. If the LR and RL components of the true stereo IR are nothing but silence, you won't get any cross-channel reverb.
But, as JFreak mentioned, there is currently a bug where the true stereo IR is not being convolved correctly. So, at the moment, the only way to do what you want is to split the track you have Space on into two mono tracks and put a mono Space on each one.

Re: Avid Space is not true stereo :-(
Buy Reverberate. Kicks Space's ass. Much easier to import 3rd party IRs than Revolver (which is also great.) Might still be on sale at pro tools expert.

And it has a true stereo option as well.

Re: Avid Space is not true stereo :-(
I agree. I hadn't noticed it wasn't working in true stereo. I knew you had to select the S-S settings, but didn't realize it was still using a mono input. I had thought something strange was going on sometimes, but honestly never took the time to track it down.

Re: Avid Space is not true stereo :-(
It is truly disappointing as the TL space was true stereo and now the AVID space is not. I hope it will be fixed.
