Replacing a Fader in Command 8
Hey guys,
This is my first post on the DUC. I've lurked for a while, but I finally need some help: I need the model number of the faders used on the Command 8 so I can replace mine. I hooked it up for the first time in about a month, after moving back to NC after living in Boston for several years, and my third fader wasn't calibrated right - it moved much faster than the other seven, and it seemed to only offer a range from ~100 to ~900, instead of the usual 0 to 1093. I took it out and looked over it with a multimeter, which showed me that one of the pins was no longer giving me anything at all. So I took the fader completely apart to find that one of the tracks has a break in it somewhere, which makes it totally useless as far as I can tell. I know it's an Alps, and that it's a 100mm touch-sensitive motorized fader, and the closest I can find to what I have without a definite part number is RSAON11M9. Surely there must be someone on here who's had to do this before. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks - Ryan |

Re: Replacing a Fader in Command 8
I would suggest contacting a repair center for the part you need.
