Because it's what my friend gave me, he just doesn't have a use for Pro Tools anymore since he changed from Windows to a Mac so he handed the software down to me. I've known him my whole life but I was still surprised when he gave me the installation disks.

How is the ilok manager working out for you? any problems with that? I think you might have an older version of PT10HD and you need to update it to at least 10.3.7
the ilok manager works fine, at first I had some small issues but now it's all good. I had 10.3.7 installed but I uninstalled it since it's crashing my computer. I'm most likely just gonna give the software back to him.

you also want to turn on delay compensation,,,and use disk cache - approx 40% of your installed ram works fine for me.
I couldn't even open up Pro Tools, it just crashes my computer.

I suspect he has ASIO4ALL installed. It's popular with the Reaper crowd, for some reason. With his particular interface, ASIO4ALL is unnecessary.

OP, uninstall ASIO4ALL and install the latest manufacturer drivers for your interface. Reboot, launch Pro Tools, and hold the N key on your keyboard. You should see your interface automatically selected.

Edit: just checked the screenshots. I suspected correctly, so uninstall it and get with the real drivers.

On your EDIT WINDOW VIEWS, check "I/O" so you can see what your in/out assignments are.
