Missing Audio Regions After 8.0.3cs Update

I worked on a project for several hours last night and decided to upgrade to 8.0.3cs since some of the fixes would help me. So before opening PT I upgraded this morning and when I opened it afterwards found that three of my sessions I was working on are missing fade and audio files. I located strangely enough my fade files on my C: however I cannot find my audio files.

On a few sessions I do print directly to the audio region (yeah yeah I know) but on all those audio regions they are missing and can't relink. This is my mixing session so the original session is safe however all that work last night seems to be missing. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there any solution, fix, another location I might be able to find these since I don't know why my fade files were on my C: when my fade folder is on my additional storage drive.

Sounds like u made a booboo somwhere; an update qon't cause anything like that; the files are gonna be on the drive itself, more so a dedicated drive; u jus need to check ur disk; ur fade files pretty much gave u the issue...

I've been having this problem with PT8 as well. I only record to one drive, so my files shouldn't be lost or spread out onto my system drive. And it really only happens with regions that I use audiosuite plugins on. The original recorded regions are always there, but anything I used audiosuite on just disappears sometimes.

Is that ur case to Michael? I don't use audiosuite except for when I use Serato but I don't or hadn't seen that issue so I guess I'm of no help on this one...

Do some googling on this, I know I have seen a thread with this problem once before, but I can't remember when. I realize that's not much help, but maybe it will help

Yes thats exactly my issue. I used AudioSuite for the first time in a long time for three straight songs now all songs are missing all the regions I added those effects to. I will Google as you mentioned but the regions are nowhere on my C Drive or my storage drive.
