When Pro Tools LE for XP?

I have been holding off on purchasing Digi 001 until XP support arrives, so my question is should I just go ahead and pick up a Digi 001 package now (probably Factory) and roll with what sounds like an upcoming patch for the current version of PTLE, or should I wait until the next version of PTLE (which presumably will have XP support as well)?

I thought that an updated version of PTLE was on the way. Or is this the patch that this thread is addressing? 32 tracks would be REALLY nice, and it seems to me that it's more likely to come by the way of a newer version of PTLE than for a patch of an existing version.

Any insight would be appreciated.
