Default Pro Tools dubstep/electronic tips and tricks please :)

I am new to recording. I know that for creating dubstep and electronic music, a lot of artists use fruity loops or other DAW's like that. That's great and all, except I love Pro Tools. It's what I know and I feel that pro tools really shines in editing. Anyway, for creating dubstep music, I know some basic stuff, like how people use the LFO and cutoff to create that wub wub effect. But besides that stuff, I need some trick and tips on how to do electronic/dubstep stuff in pro tools. I haven't really seen many videos on YouTube on this with Pro Tools, probably cuz a lot of the electronic artists don't use it, although I'm quite sure Pro tools is quite capable of this, or any type of music for that matter.

So, any tips with automation, or plug in tips, or tips with using synths like what cutoff I should do or anything like that would be helpful. Thanks:)

I was actually thinking of getting Massive, maybe komplete when I have the money. But what basic modulation controls do you control to get that electronic sound. I know the LFO and cutoff are used a lot, but any other controls you'd recommend to be automated?
