How to Multitrack
Hello,
So I just upgraded from the mBox2 to the Motu 896 which has 8 inputs and outputs. However, I've only ever used the mbox whose input 1 and input 2 are linked directly to the ln1 ln2 in the input on the edit window on the pro tools screen. How do I link up the other inputs on the 896 with the screen in pro tools? So I can choose an option of ln1 - ln8. Sorry if that isn't a very clear description of the problem! Thanks, Bill |

Re: How to Multitrack
Go to Setup>Playback Engine>Current Engine. Hopefully your MOTU 896 will show up there. Select it. Then go to Setup>I/O, and, on the Input and Output pages, click "Default." I think that will help. You can rename the inputs and outputs if you want.
