Moved from Mac PPC to Win7 can't read ext drives-Solved

I just made the move from a Power Mac to a new Win 7 PC.
When I pluged the external Firewire Glyph Drives in Win 7 x64 wants to initialize all 6 disks. Will this erase all the Pro tools projects?
If so how else can I get around this?

Loaded the plug to read Mac drives.
I now can read the drives in Windows too.

Just wanted to add:
Pro Tools reads the drives but for some reason it reads slow and sometimes it stops. almost a crash.

Initialize will indeed wipe everything. Are these drives formatted as FAT32? You may need to find an XP rig so you can drag all the files off and do a fresh format(NTFS for WIn7). You could go HFS+(using a newer Mac) if you checked the box for HFS compatibility when you installed PT on your Windows machine. You might also try the demo of MacDrive(I think they are at ver.7) to see if you can read the drives better.

I did the later. I loaded HFS Compatibility when I installed PT.
I do have a XP machine and will try this on one of the drives to see if it works better.
Hopefully this will work because I'm still having problems.

I just bought an internal drive. Format is NTFS for testing.
Moved some projects over to that drive from the Mac HFS format and called them up in PT Win 7 x64.
They work like a charm.
I tested recording 48 tracks for over 7 min.
Everything working great.
I also loaded 48 RTAS and 12 HD instruments.
Everything working smooth so far. Knock on wood.

If everything works good for the next few weeks, I report back with all the specs of my outfit.

Has anyone loaded Mac OS x 10.5 with any luck on a seperate drive in their PC?
If so, how in the world did you do it.
I've installed some of the Mac hardware. Video card, so on...
I'm trying this with no luck.

Hackintosh is computer dependent. I've managed to bot into osx 10.5 and 10.6 on all of the 3 differet workstations I use but I only work with on in video satellite LE mode. Try looking for a iATKOS version. It may make it easier for a beginner.
