Default Best Setup for Analogue Summing On 003?3

hi all,

i'm trying to figure out what my options are for analogue summing with the 003.

can i go Digital Optical ADAT 6 channels out into something like an Apogee 800 then into something like a Neve 8816 summing mixer while at the same time taking the 8 anologue outs of the 003 also into the Neve 8816?

any thoughts on this as an option or any other ways of attacking this?

basically looking for the most efficient way to use the 003 to get excellent, beautiful sounding analogue summing results in my mixes?

any and all help is much appreciated!

Yes but actually that should give you 8 channels via the ADAT output. Then you could also use some analog outputs and even the SPDIF thru an external D/A converter. The 002/003 units are capable of 18 in AND 18 out. An alternative to the Neve might be something like the Toft 8tB or the baby Trident consoles.
