Default 442 as a d/a convertor

Can the original 442 be used as a stand alone d/a-a/d convertor? It would not be interfaced with a computer via the multi-pin connnector....just simply analog and s/pdif i/o.

Not sure if that will work, but I might try that as an experiment when I get the time and report back to you. I have 8 of the 442 interfaces so I am sure I can hook something up!

I believe this functionality was introduced with the 882|20 and 888|24, so the 442 wouldn't be able to do this.
