I am actually happy with 24 tracks....
Thats great. But, this is a petition. If you would like to see a higher track count or could even use it now and then, then why dont you help us out and sign your name and fill out the feature request form. Come on bro, give us a hand here.

Times have changed since the Beatles. Even mixing styles are different in this modern age. A few mults, some parallel compression, parallel processing, a couple layers and your done in right there.

Average track count these days is 48.

Shane

We got 32 busses, a ton of power now, and even a slight improvement with delay compensation.(The time adjuster is manual but at least it's a start) So it's time to up this silly track limit.

Count me in for more tracks.

While I don't even use the 32 tracks on projects I work on most of the time, I won't hurt to have 48 tracks just in case someone brings in a project that does use a ton of tracks.

So count me in, too.
Peace

do you all mean that deal when u have ur playback buffer set to the highest and it has that delay?

Thanks

The exact term is plugin delay compensation PDC because some plugins insert more delay than the buffer size and can de-sychronise tracks.

Well count me for the second time !

yeah... but only some... Theres a post on this forums somewhere about how much plugins delay the track... and MOST of them are 0... some select ones and probably some WAVES plug-ins taht are huge do it... The only one that i notice is Auto-Tune...

Anyways... It would be nice for the plugins that do delay to have the compensation like *cough*Cubase SX*Cough*... but we'll see.

Count me in for 48 tracks or more... ad 64bit drivers.

For me the only time i saw delay in plugs was for UAD-1 Plugins. So i have sold my UAD card and baught the bombfactory plugs (wich are very near quality...) and so no more delay to compense !

ok cool so all the plugins that come with the factory bundle will be fine, but my WAVES plugins i will have to watch out for, i guess i only really use WAVES on the master for the L2 comp/limiter.

im hoping these new plugins we get with PT7 like smack! and slightly rude comp dont put delay on racks coz i thinki will b using them alot and maybe the pultec one still deciding which plugin i will choose. thanks anyways guys.
