The upgrades to 10 and 11 have more than earnt the upgrade costs. And we won't be seeing a feature upgrade until mid next year realistically. So for the moment, the price remains the same. Agreed that if Avid don't keep up with new features it is more expensive. However, once you've got next year's features, if they satisfy your workflow, you don't have to stay on the plan.

its not inflammatory to state we have protools upgrades happen every 2 years and they cost $600.

4 months after I bought a hd|native card they made the upgrade to 10hd $1000. Thats a rape in my book.
