Cannot Change Hardware Buffer Size
Pro Tools M-Powered 7.1 / Windows XP / M-Audio FireWire 1814
I recently re installed 7.1 and now the only option in the hardware buffer size drop down menu is 512 Samples. Any suggestions. |

Re: Cannot Change Hardware Buffer Size
I have now uninstalled 7.1 and installed 7.4.
Now the only hardware buffer size option I have is 256 samples. Any suggestions? |

Re: Cannot Change Hardware Buffer Size
I don't know the answer, but have you tried setting the buffer size in the M-Audio Firewire Control Panel?

Harware Buffer Size
Yeah, I'm having the same problem. But when I set the buffer size on the M audio control panel, it seems to jump from whenever I set it to (1024 samples in this case) back down to 128?! Then After about 5 mins of playback the sound goes to Bit Crushy Hell and sounds like an old Nintendo game. Then I reboot just to get another 5 mins outta the programe. Just installed the ProFire litebridge with m-powered 7.4cs. Not sure what to do here....
