I'll take a stab at this. Since the MPT is authorized as one license with the iLok, the individual plug-ins can not be authorized separately. Therefore the answer is "no." Anyone disagree?

My guess woud be no, but if a dude can wear a wedding dress and sell it online for Huge $$$ anything is possible. I would still say NO though. The plugs are worth it though.

The answer is yes. You ABSOLUTELY can sell the plugins.

The only elements to the MPTK iLok license are the 48 track option, and Beat Detective.

All the other plugins are seperate iLok authorizations, which can be sold easily and legally.

I did that very thing. Bought the MPTK, sold Smack, TL Space, Soundreplacer, and DINR on eBay.

That left me with the 48 track option, and mult-track Beat Detective...which I wound up paying 50 bux for when it was all said and done!

Also, there's a 48 track option/multi track Beat Detective iLok auth on eBay right now.

I think he's asking 299.00.

I've bought 6 or 7 plugins from the guy who's selling it (Dutchmuzik).

Do an eBay search for iLok. You'll find it.

Great...The question becomes then, will I make more money back from selling all the plugs besides the actual MP toolkit one then buying the 250$ 48 track expansion off of ebay that is going right now. I know someone who is selling the whole MP toolkit for 400$ also...

You think its possible to at least make 200$ off selling all the other plugs besides the actual PT toolkit now? WHere did you sell them? Just on ebay? Let me know...Thanks for the heads up

Edit: Is the Mp3 option in the specific MP toolkit plug?

Stone-

I sold them on eBay.

Mind you, there is a glut of the plugs you'd want to sell.

You should get $100 or so for TL Space
$40 or so for DINR
$50 or so for Smack LE
$80-$120 for Soundreplacer
$75 or so for Hybrid

The mp3 option is a code authorization (a card comes with the MPTK with the auth code), which I believe is specific to the LE 7.1 upgrade that comes with the MPTK, but I could be wrong.

I kept my mp3 option. I comes in handy from time to time. (it's only a $20 add on, so if it COULD be sold, it'd hardly be worth the trouble).

Lowballing, that's an easy $300 you'll get back from a 395.00 new purchase (MPTK is 395.00 new at Audio Midi)

Standard Protools LE has 32 audio tracks. with the Music Production Toolkit, you get up to 48 audio tracks (doesn't matter if they are mono or stereo). In other words, you get 16 additional audio tracks (32 + 16 = 48). You do NOT get 80 audio tracks (32 + 48 = 80).

just to add, as i understand it...with PTLE you get 32 voices whether that be 16 stereo voices/tracks or 32 mono voices/tracks. with the MPT you get 48 voices BUT these can either be 48 stereo voices or 48 mono voices. so you could actually get as much 32 additional trax with MPT IF you are usin' ALL stereo trax.

I would gladly give you $100.00 for TL Space if it is legal.
