Default Welcome to Pro Tools Blank Screen
I'm trying to install Pro tools LE 8 in order to get the 8.0.3 or 8.0.5 update. When I put in the installation CD I get the Welcome to Pro Tools screen but the bottom is blank. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Don't use that DVD download it from your account

Because they had problems with those era DVDs

That's the thing. I've got into my account and looked for the dl file and can't find it.

There have been cases of the various dialog windows getting "Stuck" behind the main installer window in V8. You can use win+tab or Alt+Tab to cycle through the windows. The installer maybe just waiting for you to input a response.
