Default C|24 Firmware reset?

Hi

Not for the first time my C|24 is playing up.

I need to reset the firmware but don't know how. It's a combination of button presses at start up but I can't remember it.

I've asked this previously in the C24 forum but never got an answer. I was wondering if anyone here knew.

HELP!!!!

Default Re: C|24 Firmware reset?

Hi marsdy,

I found this, but don't know if it's for the old or new C24 , try and tell us if it's ok .

Quote:
1. Turn the C24 off.

2. Press and hold SELECT, SOLO and MUTE on fader channel #1 while powering the C24 back on.

3. Launch ProTools and visit SETUP menu > Peripherals > Ethernet Controllers.

4. There, un-check "Enable" then check "Enable" again. This will make ProTools rescan for the C24.

5. When scanning is complete, choose the C24 as the first unit. You'll be promted that the firmware version does not match. Allow the firmware to be updated.

Default Re: C|24 Firmware reset?

Many thanks Loudy !

That's definitely for the the C|24. Those instructions reset part of the firmware and then PT told me the firmware version did not match and updated.

Didn't fix my problem unfortunately. Back to the drawing board but thanks again for your help.
