Noise glitches

I had a session created by importing an omf that ran fine during one afternoon and the next day it was full of pink noise glitches.
The same glitches happened in the same places when the session opened on different system.
I think i found the cause and was able to fix it but i'm wondering if any one experienced anything similar. PT 2018.7 OS X 10.12.6
