sample rate stuck on 44.1 on my 1814...HELP ME PLz

hey everyone

I tried to search for this but couldnt find anything of use.

basically my problem is that when i start up my PTMP session i have only one sample rate to choose from. 44.1. and if i try to open a previous session which used 48K it tells me that this sample rate is unsupported by the current playback engine.

i had a real gewd go to try to nose around and change some things which i thought might affect it but i havnt been able to get it to use anything other than 44.1!!!

heres what i tried (in a nutshell)

i reinstalled PTMP and my 1814 drivers

made sure that the built in speakers/audio was not interfering(i have not installed the drivers on this partition)

ummm what else, i cant remember off the top of my head (i didnt document it) but i tried some other things as well.

Well, i called DIGI tech support, they told me that they dont support PTMP, they directed me to an EMAIL adress, from which i have recieved no response...

i think they should take some of the funds from the advertising and inject just a little bit into some half decent tech support.

its just a real pain in the neck, when u have PAID WORK waiting, and you cant do a thing about it because there is little to no tech support available.

hey i had this problem too a while ago!!!...it started when i downloaded and installed that new driver update for m-audio 1814...so i just uninstalled everything and and installed the original driver i've got when i bought my 1814 and that fixed it.just try totally removing evrything that has anything to do with m-audio 1814 on ur DAW and start from scratch.

nah i didn't uninstall my plugins...i just re installed PTMP and the original 1814 drivers...its annoying that m-audio gives you driver upgrades that screws up ur perfectly functioning system. that's why i don't upgrade my drivers unless i really need to...like if pro Tools would start telling u to install new drivers...i've already installed PTMP7 and its running perfectly with my original drivers and yet its written on the M-powered site that u need new drivers to run M-powered7 software...hehe! if it aint broken then y fix it...anyweyz hope u got ur system up and running as it should be...
