Audio Setup Help/Mbox+Mac

Hi,

Hoping someone can help with a sound issue I'm having.

I just picked up a MacBook Pro along with ProTools9+Mbox Mini.

I installed all the drivers. Hooked up the mbox and my mic.

I created a ProTools session and clicked the record button. I am getting a signal but it appears to be from the built in mic on the Mac. Also I can't hear anything in my headphones.

I went to Preferences on the Mac and changed the Sound Preferences to the Avid Mbox for both input and output. It's still not picking up.

In Preferences I clicked on the Avid Mbox icon and it shows that the device is connected. All the lights are on as well.

Any ideas? Searched the web but haven't found anything and am kinda stuck.
