Running PT9 on OSX 10.6.8 - Time to Upgrade
Greetings,
I'm running PT 9.0.6 on OSX 10.6.8 laptop. It's a pretty robust machine: RAM: 16GB 1333 Mhz DDR3 Processor: 2.3 Ghz Intel Core i7 It's run solid since 2011, but now is getting sluggish, even though I regularly do all the tweaks ( pref trash, etc. list) as well as Disk Utility on both internal drives. The main drive is an SSD and there is a second, internal 7200 rpm drive for audio. Could this sluggishness be the Mac OS ver, PT version, or both? Any suggestions? I'd like to take this hardware to it's full potential thx
