Pro Tools 11 license disappeared when transferring other licenses from old iLok
I just got my iLok2 today. I've been using Pro Tools 10 (with the 10/11 license bundle) on my old generation iLok for a little while now, I upgraded from 9 a couple weeks ago.
I just activated and put my Pro Tools 11/10 bundle licenses on my new iLok2 and that worked. Then, I figured I'd drag and drop all my licenses from my old iLok onto the new one so I can have everything in one spot... for some reason now my "Pro Tools 11" license is missing right after I did that--there was no warning popup about it or anything, it just asked if I wanted to transfer licenses and I clicked "ok". Now, when I click on the tab for "Pro Tools 11 Bundle" there is ONLY the Pro Tools 10 license... 11 is literally missing: I had 19 licenses in "All" and then I dragged them to my new iLok and I have a total of 18 licenses now. AGHHH!! Please help! Sorry for the trouble! Last time I tried to buy the Avid Support Code I was unable to complete any type of payment options--the website gave me errors every time, so I have no other way of getting help! |

Go to Latest News & Known Issues linked from the bottom of the www.iLok.com home page.
First, make sure you have downloaded and installed the most recent version of the iLok License Manager. Then follow the instructions in the second article to perform a Sync/Repair on all of your iLoks. |

Didn't even have to get all the way through the instructions:
Unplugging my iLoks, restarting the License Manager, and plugging them back in seems to have done the trick. My Pro Tools 11 License has magically reappeared. Very odd, I wouldn't expect that to work for this type of application, since it syncs automatically with my account via internet.... I had some confusing issues earlier with license surrendering so thought I must have screwed it up again--guess it was a much smaller problem than I had thought! Now I feel silly haha. Thank you for your time and patience! |
