MAC Mini w/DV ToolKit For /OMF/Dialogue/SFX Editing?

I work at a Post Facility and we need to upgrade our LE edit stations. We do not mix or Record music. These systems will be strictly for post audio SFX/OMF/dialogue editing.

One of the most annoying things in creating SFX on a system is waiting for the digi search engine to find the search FX ie. "Dog Bark" or "Feet" Everything else in PT runs nice. Not like TDM but nice enough for editing.

Does anyone have any experience using A new (2009) Intel dual Core Mini Mac with PTLE, and happens to do a lot of searching in the Digi search finder?

PT 7.4 LE DV ToolKit
All of our drives are LAcie firwire 800 Port drives 500G or 1Terabyte

A base avarage session would be 10 to 30 tracks and a few Reverbs at most.
