I have that with 4x 4tb drives in RAID5 giving me 12TB storage with ability for one drive to fail at a time. Studio machine on Ethernet, that on Ethernet in another room. Syncs one-way once a day between 'Current Projects' drive and that. Can't fault it. When a session is finished for the forseeable, just delete it from the Current Projects SSD. If they want to do a revision months later, just drag it back, do the changes and it will resync with minimal bandwidth. Checks file modification date and just updates changes. Cloud Storage does the same thing, but uploads once per hour, and also keeps revisions of changed files. Can be handy if a WAV gets corrupted or if i save over something. That problem will propagate through to the NAS, but I can go to my cloud, and find an older version of the same file.
