Default Re: 12.3.1 midi bug??

There is a bug with MIDI volume as well.. I've started a thread about it and also seen it mentioned on other threads but didn't get reply yet.

Default Re: Fader on a MIDI Track in PT12 doesn't affect instrument volume while adjusting it

Major Protools 12.3.1 bug still not fixed. Midi faders no longer control instrument plugin volume (Controller 007) during record. This function has worked since the creation of Protools 1991 and now with the release of 12, no more volume control! Thanks again ignoring this issue in the latest update.

Looks like I'll try and reach out to the development team at Avid. Does anyone have a contact point to escalate this bug?

Start a support case, and if Avid can reproduce it, they should add it to ideascale.

at the risk of repeating myself:

isn't Ideascale a list of ideas and wishes for future releases?

This broken MIDI-link IS a BUG, introduced in PT12 !!!! AVID should fix it.

happy holidays
Walter

I replied a few posts into this thread confirming the problem and linking to the bug report. A fix is still in progress.

IdeaScale is used to request features and report bugs. See the Categories on the right side of http://protools.ideascale.com - but please keep this thread on topic (MIDI Fader issue), thanks.

I'm pretty sure I had this MIDI fader bug in PT 11 as well. Am I the only one?
