Default Help with Ringing Mic

Scenario is that I recorded from the direct outs of a Mixer into my 002R.
The problem I have now is a ringing mic on the vocal track. Is there anyway I can EQ it away and save the vocal???? Thanks for any insight.
I run LE 6.9 on a compaq laptop don't have any new high tech stuff.
