PT First Launch Freezes on "Signing in to your Avid account"

OSX Yosemite 10.10.5
Pro Tools First 12.2.1

Upon a fresh computer startup, Pro Tools First always freezes on "Signing in to your Avid account" on startup. But then when I force quit and retry, it works, every single time. Annoying but not critical I suppose. Any help?

Any pop up blocker running, antivirus, firewall settings that's affecting the log in page?
Another factor to consider is your OS version, Mac 10.10.5 is not yet compatible with Pro Tools First.

Thanks for your reply. I wasn't aware that PTF wasn't yet compatible with OSX 10.10.5. Well, guess I'll have to deal with the bug for now.

It's too early to tell if it's a bug since not all of us are getting the error. But I got my eye on this topic.

I'm also running pro tools first 12.2.1 on a mac running 10.10.5. I'm having this exact same problem. The force quit was working as a workaround, but now I can't get the application to load at all. Any ideas?

Well that is news and explains why my PT First rarely opens. 10.10.5 is incompatible? What do ya'll recommend then, bumping up to El Capitain?

hi.
I'm having the same issue. it freezes on the "signing you in to your avid account" stage. if I close that window then it opens but then it doesn't remember any of my songs.

Same issue here. Plus, after closing the "signing in" popup, when I try to sign in with the button on the empty dashboard, I get the message "please connect to the internet to sign in." That's pretty funny because I have the avid link window open and can see everything including my one project in the cloud. I believe Avid has a server issue here and wish they would post something about the problem.

Damn, so what do we do now? do you think uninstalling and re-installing could help?
