Default Re: Recording Alesis DM10 Studio Kit With Plugin

In Pro Tools you may go to the -View- menu and enable -Instruments- to see all the Midi I/O settings on your Instrument track.
Check these settings for the M-Audio interface on the input, the right Midi channel, and the AD2 on the output etc.
In this menu the M-Audio Midi interface needs to appear and the right Midi channel (All or 10) has to be set.

Further check the Audio/Midi Setup in your OS X (Applications/Utilities/Audio Midi Setup/Midi Studio). Your M-Audio Midi Interface
has to appear there to receive any Midi input. If it´s not there go to -Add device- and set it up there with the DM10 as well.

Finally try to connect the M-Audio to another USB port and try to disconnect any other Midi interfaces but the M-Audio and see what
will happen.

Except the settings on the Instrument track itself I guess you got it set up correctly anyway because otherwise you would not be able
to play the standalone version of AD2...if I got you right on this?

Helpful that you have posted all the settings in great detail. Maybe anyone else will notice something I have missed yet.

All the best to you.

Yes, and I've already mentioned this twice now - have you checked these settings??
