Running Reason & Kontakt Through Outboard Gear
Hi,
How would I go about running a drum sequence from Reason or Kontakt, for example, though an outboard pre amp - like the Great River MP-1NV or Focusrite ISA 220 - then back into Pro Tools? Is something like this possible? Or - how could I run a final mix through outboard stuff? Thanks. ~Henry |

Re: Running Reason & Kontakt Through Outboard Gear
if your rewiring those into protools, set your audio out to a destination you choose on your digidesign hardware through protools. Plug the outboard audio gear into the same output, and choose an input. route the input you located back into a channel in protools. you will have a loop. just make sure you don't route the inputed signal back out to the same channel you sent or you will cause a feedback loop.
