Digi 001 compliance issues with Windows

Hello --- i'm considering purchasing Pro Tools Digi 001 LE to work with my current PC. It's an Athlon 1.3 GHz with 756 RAM. I figure to also get another harddrive for dedicated pro tools use. My main question is about the OS --- I currently have Windows 2000 --- It seems that it is not compliant with Win 2000 --- what's the deal with that? is there any plans to create new drivers or something so that it can be used with Win 2000? i'd hate to have to downgrade to ME or Win 98 ... Thanks for any tips and info ---

As of right now- you'll have to change OS to use the LE software. An XP driver is what they have next in the works- I don't know if that is going to include Windows 2000 compatibility as well. You can either change OS or wait it out. Those are pretty much your options if you want to stick with digi.

just set up a dual boot system until XP is released for Digi001.
