Exclamation Please Help! (Export Related)

Hey guys so I was just wondering what is THE best export settings to get the audio to sound IDENTICAL to the edit view before you export or bounce. I bounce my tracks and I have tried MANY different settings but just cant seem to get that identical same quality sounds I dont know what else I can do. Please let me know what is the method to retaining the same quality when bouncing.

Thanks, Shabbar

Did you bounce to Wav rather than MP3 and at same sample rate as session?

Bare in mind though, if you want to burn to CD you need to bounce Wav at 16 Bit-44.1Khz. Make sure you have Dither plugin on Master track (If you don't have a master track in your session create one). I've found that using the Maxim plugin on the master track gets good results, it has dither option built in too.

In Pro Tools>Setup>I/O>Output Tab>Default Output Bus is set to Main Out.

Are we talking about bouncing to disk for a final mixdown, or exporting audio(2 different things). Good advice above, but export(for moving a session to another platform) calls for different advice. As I understand it, PT automatically applies dither when you tell it to export as 16 bit(from a 24 bit session).
