Agreed!

R2
Release Note

6.0.0 Release
• iZotope branding for GUI and User Guide
• Minor fix in VST logic to make sure input buffer is cleared. In a few rare cases, this had caused a noise at startup.

5.0.2 Release
Some performance improvements in very heavily-loaded system

5.0.1 Release
⁃ In preparing V5.0.0, a number of changes were made to tighten up the VST interface to more closely match the spec. Unfortunately a number of DAWs don't implement the spec very well (no reason to mention names). Those DAWs may have shown input only in the left channel. A workaround is now in place to resolve the situation.
⁃ Fixed a problem that affected automation that had been written in versions prior to V2.0.0. This affected Pro Tools and perhaps a handful of other DAWs. That has been resolved. Unfortunately this means that automation written with V2.0.0 will be incorrect. We apologize, but there is no solution other than performing the automation again.

5.0.0 Release
⁃ Internal changes
⁃ Default value for Tooltips is now off
⁃ Zoom button now works for Presonus Studio One 4. Earlier versions of Studio One did not properly support zooming.
⁃ Improved support for hardware control surfaces.
⁃ Major version number bump because of internal changes
⁃ Executable size is now significantly smaller. Launching should be a little faster.
⁃ Executable size is now significantly smaller
⁃ Global parameters and favorites now have a new file format. Despite significant effort, we are not able to convert the older format. Please make a note of favorites and global parameters so they can be re-entered
⁃ There was a rare situation that could occur if a DAW was open but inactive for a long period of time. Computer energy management could potentially put the DAW to sleep. This might cause a license error message that could only be resolved by exiting the DAW. This has been resolved.
⁃ Fixed an errant note in the log file that indicated failure to load a graphics file.
⁃ Improved recognition of stem formats in Studio One

4.0.0 Release
• Added support for CPU licensing
• Added notes about CPU licensing to User Guide

3.10.0 Release
⁃ Internal improvements
⁃ Improved behavior when a session is loaded with a missing user preset
⁃ Updated User Guide to explain restoration of missing presets in a session.

3.0.9 Release
⁃ Quick release to fix a problem in which a couple of the selectors were not appearing.

3.0.8 Release
⁃ New AAX toolkit used. There should be no noticeable change in plugin behavior.
⁃ Added a handful of new presets (Bandy Guitar Hall)
⁃ Writing to the log file is now more efficient.
⁃ Fixed a significant issue that could arise in loading a session with more than a dozen instantiations of the plugin. This was related to license-checking. The relevant code has been re-written and session loading is now a little faster (perhaps not fast enough to notice).

A pile of updates for V Collection 6 have appeared since VC7 was just released.

Note, the new versions are 64 bit only. 32 bit ones are deleted!
