Pro Tools + SSL Sigma Automation Not Working

Hi everyone. I'm a recent Sigma user and I must say that I'm in love with the unit but I'm having a lot of trouble trying to automate it with Pro Tools.

I've followed every step from the manual on setting it up but there's no communication between my Pro Tools Session and the Sigma. I only get a dialog from PT that says HUI is not working.

I have airport turned off, no internet connection whatsoever but I can't seem to get it to work.

Funny thing is that there is ethernet connection between my computer and Sigma. I can edit from the web browser perfectly but it's the automation from Pro Tools only that's not working.

I have set the ipmidi to 20 channels and set Pro Toos peripherals step by step as the manual says but no look. 16 first channels on the session and all that.

Any ideas? Any experts that had the same problem?

Mac Pro 2009, 16 GB RAM, OS 10.8.5, PT HDX2 11.2.2.

So changed the ethernet cable and got it to work for a few minutes. I thought for a minute that that was the problem but as soon as I closed and reopen the session the problem remained.

I must say that the HUI dialog from Pro Tools always popped. Even in the few minutes that I got it to work.

I remember now that the same thing happened at first install. The automation worked for a few minutes…only.

Any ideas?

Did you ever sort this out? I have exactly the same problem! (PT 12.1 HD, also tried with 10.3.9)

I just looked at the manual page 38 and it say to set each HUI in PT to 8 channels; could this be the issue here?

No, that isn't the issue. But I did find that killing my Eucon controllers plugged into the other Ethernet port on my Mac made it all come to life today!
