Simple Daw to record Narration with markers and rudimentary editing capabilities
Hi
I am fed up with listening through 10's of takes when cutting narration because I cannot drop markers with notes in Protools (that stays in the clip - not global) It would be great if such an application could use the Protools hardware. Should be able to: (no video sync needed) 1) Record - and add markers while recording with simple marker names (G / NG / P etc) 2) Edit to a guide track (and markers follow cuts) 3) Export wav Thats all! WIth all the alternatives and Metric/Imperial derivatives it would need to only handle 8 tracks or so... Does such a thing exist? Is there any DAW software that will keep markers in region and allow you to add markers during record? It will save me hundreds of hours!!!

Because I do not stop and start recording for every clip and cannot separate them while recording.
Do you have a workaround or alternative method that you use? Cheers stef
