Toshiba Satellite P100
Intel centrino Duo T5500 @ 1,66 ghz 1.67ghz 2gb ram 32-bit os no ext. hard drive. vista home premium i upgraded to 7.4 it opens i can create tracks but i get about 5 seconds in and i get either a 9092/9093 or 6086 depending on what ive tried to do to alleviate the error. which is to change the h/w buffer size like it says.. nothing seems to be working. Ive done as many of the 'optimizations' as i can find. to no avail.. any help would be awesome. sorry im not able to be more specific.. |

Re: 6086/9092/9093
I think the answer lies in line number 5, No Ext hard drive.
A dedicated audio drive is a must in PT. Also if you haven't done so doing the system optimizations in the General Troubleshooting are mandatory to level the ground so that we can troublehoot things. Make sure drive indexing is turned off also.

Re: 6086/9092/9093
thanks for the info. I had a feeling the lack of ext.HD could be affecting it.. i just didnt expect that much. I am worry that i could have a compatibility issue.. as i did very little research and bought on a whim (iknowiknow). anyways im happy that i can atleast record for a couple seconds which means something is working right..
can anyone recommend a great ext.hd. or any other upgrades that are necessary/cool.. im a bit fuzzy on if my usb' drives are good enough .. they are four pin not 6... anyways.. im gonna go back in to trying to fix it and research an ex.HD.. thanks for any help.. adios |
