Hi Dunga, I am checking out what you have nicely presented. While I had just 256MB at my G4 800 QS this did never arise. Then, I added 256MB more and it became present.
ALso, have you had problems listening to your CDS thru Toast? Wherever I do, it sounds over clipped, even lowering down the fade. A guy from Gearslutz told he he had to trade for itunes. Something related with an internal cable that connects the drive. Thanks again

I have just contacted the local MAC tech and he said no memory kit would rise this behavior. He added that it would lock the machine. Probably is a problem of software or extensions.
