I usually check to see if an update is qualified first. For some reason I didn't with this one, my bad. Interestingly my current system has been working well on the fairly extensive project I've been dealing with the last few weeks. What I'm actually trying to do is draw attention to the doomsday tone Avid took in announcing this and wondering how serious it is.

I was on 10.13.4 before I updated my Protools; I've not noticed anything massive; plugins still do what they are supposed to, but I haven't tried any serious recording since. I'm not doing any massive editing either.
Just occasionally it'll lock up hen opening, but other than that it doesn't seem to be a huge headache as far as I can see.

Doomsday ... haha ... probably to head off at the pass all the people that will do the upgrade and complain that it is giving their system a Headache !!!! just preventive imho ... not enough time to properly beta the new MacOS .. nothing crazy .. i like that they did this myself .. HS has nothing for me .. so far skipping it like EL Crap !!!
