When connecting a second screen
I have a samsung screen connected to my macbook pro.
I'm using this samsung as my main screen - I'm not using the macbook pro in front of me - it is on the side of my desk. The issue I have is that whenever I want to view a popup box like 'playback engine' or when I'm bouncing, the popup always appears on my macbook screen. I have my macbook screen off my desk so this isn't ideal. My Samsung screen is what I use as my main screen in front of me, so I need to view everything on it. Has anyone found a way to make Pro Tools use the added screen so everything appears on that? Pro Tools is the only program I have issues with for this |

Re: When connecting a second screen
In the system preferences under the display section, there is a white bar at the top of the screen icon for the laptop that means it is the primary desktop, if you drag this bar over to the icon for your external monitor that screen becomes the primary desktop and that might do it? It worked with some other programs on mine.
