Default M-Box Pro 3 not working with Windows 7?

Hi,

I recently bought the M-Box Pro 3 bundled with Pro Tools 9 and I connected it to my PC using a FireWire cable. Everything seems to be okay computer-wise but there is just noise and some high pitched noisy sounds coming from my speakers. I've installed the drivers and when I go to sound devices the M-Box pro is actually listed as an output and when I play a sound file the green bar does move so music is coming trough.

The speaker cables do work as does the FireWire cable so it should have something to do with my software or pc. These are my PC specs:

Windows 7 Professional
Intel Core i7-3930K CPU @ 3.20GHz 3.20 GHz
16GB DDR3 RAM
64 bit

The screenshot below shows that the FireWire is not recognized but it is connected to my PC though. What can I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Hugo.
