I'm taking a little different avenue here than most of what I've been reading. It looks cheap and thin and breakable. That is my initial thought on it, now the more info they release and videos etc. I may change my mind. But the D-Command and the D-Control look muscular, beefy, tough. This thing looks like the flimsy Rock Band drum set, with the bright leds, and the same OLED screens as on the artist series control surfaces...just not sold yet that this is an upgrade.

The D-Command and Control were cheap........ugly and flimsy ...

That's how I always felt (on looks) about the euphonix vs the Icon. But the euphonix although plasticity looking are quite resilient.

Hey guys,

Vintage King has the prices for all configurations.

Just click on either the M10 or M40, and it will bring you to a new page with a drop down menu. Plus that page has some detailed hi-res pictures.

As for trade ins, Vintage King is doing their own version of that for some consoles.

But keep in mind that Avid changes their specials every quarter, so at the beginning of October, they may feature a trade in offer.

I checked the prices, they don't list the s6 m10 8-5 prices. And some of them seemed off to what we got, but then again, that might have changed since.

Hang over induced faultiness!! the prices on vintage kings are the same. except for not showing the m6 s10 85, but as Drew stated, 22k.

//And edit, they just added it.

M40 buyers are paying the same price for a comparable D Control. Good for them.

That's not correct on many levels. The 8 fader D-Command listed for $ 17k and the meters are in fact nearly identical - just positioned next to the faders instead of at the top on a meter bridge.

The S6 M10 has many more advantages like:
-An integrated touch screen with high res metering and displays.
-EUCON control
-5 Knobs verses 2 knobs
-color coded knobs
-Hi Res OLED displays verses 6 character LCD scribble
-Track Matrix view
-Hi resolution soft keys section with 56 buttons and color screens
-Dedicated Focus fader
-System 5 Brushless high quality faders

And many more features.
