How much memory usage does your PT take up on normal launch ?
I am curious to know what the average memory usage is for everyone on this in Activity Monitor as mine on general launch take up 540mb which seems a bit high ??? Thats on a 8core MAcpro 2.4 Westmere PT 9.02. running OSX 10.6.6
When I launch it on my laptop it's about 360mb Macbook Pro Quadcore2.0 PT9.0.2 running OSX 10.6.6 IS there an average usage amount for default loadup ? or does the amount of plugins you have installed on the system also add to the load ? ..would be great to get a poll to help Thanks

Bump ?? I'd really like to know what everyone's system on mac loads up i have about 550mb usage on default load up no session loaded .. in Activity monitor ?
Is this normal

On my rig... Pro Tools 9 uses 319mb sitting idle with no session loaded
On a side note, Logic 9.1.3 running 64 bit uses half that at 146mb... interesting
