Default Reason Dr. Rex issue

Fellow Users...Protool users that is,

I'm having an issue related with Reason's Dr. Rex. I'm running a G5 dual 2.5 with PT 6.4 and Reason 2.5 (rewire) with a 002r. I'm able to instanciate two Dr. Rex's but by the third one I'm not able to send MIDI data to track. I can't figure it out because i'm able to send data on the first two Rex players. This is the second time this happened on a separate session so I'm thinking it's a bug. I submitted a report to propellerheads regarding this and another known issue with distortion while audtioning rex files but oddly enough they had no answer for this one.

Thanks,

RS

You must have a selection (in Pro Tools or Reason) to use the To Track function in Dr Rex.

I've selected in loop and at bar 1 or where ever in the sequence and it does'nt transfer MIDI data no matter where or what selected. I've used various REX files and it only does this on the 3rd Dr. REX. player on. MIDI to track only works on the 1st two players. This has occured in two separate sessions exactly the same way.

Thanks anyways,

RS

If it's a bug then a it's a weird one because I know of people that can bring up multiple Dr. Rex players with no problem on much slower processors. It's gotta be a compatiblity issue with the dual 2.5 (and PT6.4 w/ Reason 2.5 ?) unless others are experiencing this problem with other systems. Propellerheads has'nt acknowledged this one as a bug but the distortion when auditioning 24 bit REX files is a known bug in 2.5.
