virtual instrument latency
Ive noticed when using a USB keyboard as the controler in conjuction with koblo through the griffin imic usb device there is latency in response of hitting the keys to getting the sound to produce. When the imic isnt being used and the sound is routed through the headphones jack the instrument playback is uasable. Again this is with a usb keyboard set as the controling/recording instrument and at the same time set to send midi data to the virtual instrument. Im testing with protools free, but looking into the Mbox.
Being that mbox is a usb device I was concerned that this midi issue would be the same. Any buddy out there have the answer for this one? Joel |
